• Oxford Street is in the City of Westminster in the West End of London. At either end of Oxford Street you will find Tottenham Court Road and Marble Arch. The street also runs through the popular Oxford Circus, New Bond Street, Regent Street and Wardour Street.

  • Oxford Street is the busiest shopping and retail district in all of Europe. Over half a million visitors visit the 300 shops in the area every day. This iconic retail status stems from the fact that the very first department store in Britain was located here and was home to shops such as Selfridges, HMV and John Lewis. The area has never really had competition from any of the other large retail destinations surrounding it, and for this reason many large retailers locate their flagship stores on Oxford Street.

  • There are also many listed buildings on Oxford Street. This melding of the old with the modern is what the area is all about, and you can find that variety in buildings in our offices to rent in Oxford St.

  • Many bus routes service Oxford Street, which is off limits to private cars for most of the week, including 10, 25, 55, 73, 98, 390 and night buses N8, N55, N73, N98 and N207. There are four tube stations nearby, Marble Arch on the Central Line, Bond Street on the Central and Jubilee Lines, Oxford Circus on the Central, Bakerloo and Victoria Lines and Tottenham Court Road on the Central and Northern Lines.

  • In the future, the Crossrails or ‘Elizabeth’ line will also have two stations at Bond Street and Tottenham Court Road.

  • Serviced offices in Oxford St are very popular with many of our clients because of the accessibility of the area and the wide range of offices available to rent, from historic and classic offices to modern, stylish coworking spaces.

  • Office space in Oxford St is very popular among certain businesses, due to the large amount of footfall the area receives on a daily basis, as well as the excellent transport connections.

    • However, this is not the only reason our clients love to work in the area. There are many world-class bars, restaurants and clubs near Oxford Circus that are incredibly popular.

    • The 100 Club, located in the basement of No. 100 Oxford Street, has had many different names over the years, but one thing that has not changed has been the calibre of artists that play there. Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller, The Who, The Kinks, Sex Pistols, and Buzzcocks have all graced the stage throughout the years, giving the area a name for itself in the music scene.

    • If you’re looking for a fancy eatery then you have come to the right place. Berners Tavern is among the most popular dining experiences in the city, serving up quality British-inspired dishes. Other excellent dinner spots include Ember Yard and Ponti's Italian Kitchen.

    • It wouldn’t be London without a plethora of quality pubs and bars and Oxford Street is no different. Perfect for after-work drinks, we recommend Long Bar, Flying Horse, The Aviary Cave Bar and Harry Gordon's Bar & Kitchen.

    • If you are in need of accommodation for the night, there are loads of great options nearby to suit every budget. If it is luxury you are looking for, we definitely suggest the Soho Hotel, The Langham and the May Fair Hotel.

    • Did you know that Oxford Street is on the London version of the Monopoly board? It is part of the green section, along with Regent Street and Bond Street.

    • The street also makes an appearance in Charles Dickens’ famous novel, A Tale of Two Cities.
