Number 28 Burton Street was built as a pair with number 27 in around 1739, most likely by Isaac Ware whose Rococo influences can be seen inside with the plaster ceiling moulding. The façade has been altered throughout time; two additional storeys were added and finally the shop front being the most recent adaption during the 20th Century.
