Podcasts are a fantastic way to find valuable tips and tricks in business. They are also great to listen to if you have a general interest in how business works, as the conversations that are had on them can give you a heads up on the goings on in the business world.
Whether you’re on your daily commute to work or looking for new strategies that you can use in your own business, we’re going to outline some of our favourite business podcasts that you can listen to today, and where you can find them.
1. The WIRED Podcast

With topics around Finance, Marketing, Growth, Sales, and HR, this podcast provides a fantastic overview of what strategies you can employ to really get ahead in business. The format of the show is designed in a similar way to Dragon’s Den, where budding businesspeople and start-ups have a few minutes to pitch an idea to Nick and and his guest Angel Investors. After the pitch, they all discuss the business and possible investment opportunities.

8. The Disruptive Entrepreneur/The Disruptors

The podcast offers sage advice to those looking to build a photography business, the utilisation of Instagram, as well as having guests appear to discuss topics too. Overall, this is a great podcast for budding snappers, hosted by two of the UK’s leading portrait photographers.
Some fun episodes we really enjoyed are ‘Using Instagram to Grow Your Photography Business’ with Rebecca Carpenter, ‘Finding the Perfect Balance in Your Photography Business’ with Sam Docker, and ‘Fulfilling Your Creative Dreams’ with Kesha Lambert.
10. IPA AdTalk Podcast

IPA AdTalk is a podcast in which Paul Bainsfair, Director General of IPA, invited guests on to discuss their careers within the advertising and communications business. The IPA is the professional body for advertising, media and marketing communications agencies in the UK, so it’s fair to say that this podcast is filled with expertise and knowledge about the world of advertising from a business standpoint.
